1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Paperstreet (the "Service"), available at paperstreet.web.app and through our iOS application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Paperstreet is a stock market simulation platform that allows users to practice trading with virtual currency ("paper money"). The Service uses real-time and delayed market data for educational and entertainment purposes only.

Paperstreet is not a brokerage, financial advisor, or investment platform. No real securities are bought or sold. Paper trades do not constitute real market orders.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Virtual Currency

Paper money has no real-world monetary value. It cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real currency. Paperstreet is currently free to use — additional paper money can be added at no cost through the Wallet section of the app. We may introduce optional paid features in the future.

5. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section in the iOS app. Deleting your account permanently removes your portfolio, trade history, watchlist, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

6. Disclaimer of Financial Advice

The Service does not provide investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other sort of professional advice. Paperstreet is not a broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial institution, and is not licensed or registered with any financial regulatory authority. Market data displayed may be delayed or inaccurate. Past simulated performance does not indicate future results in real markets.

Stock ratings and insights. The Service may display automatically computed stock scores, ratings, signals (such as "Buy" or "Sell"), and related statistics. These are generated algorithmically from publicly available market data (such as valuation ratios, price history, published analyst recommendation counts, and insider transaction filings) solely for educational and entertainment purposes within the simulation. They are not personalized recommendations, are not offers or solicitations to buy or sell any real security, and must not be relied upon for real investment decisions. Third-party data used in these computations may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always do your own research and consult a licensed financial professional before investing real money.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Paperstreet and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on simulated trading results.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
